Après un mois d'avril 2025 garni en très belles sorties jeux vidéo comme Koira, Blue Prince, Clair Obscur Expedition 33, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves ou encore de solides portages tels que Indiana Jones et le Cercle Ancien et Forza Horizon 5 sur PS5, ainsi que The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered sur PC, mai 2025 s'annonce également particulièrement chargé en titres qui méritent une certaine attention, ainsi que de jours fériés pour en profiter. Un calendrier jeux vidéo encore infernal pour mai 2025

Le premier quart de l'année 2025 nous a définitivement gâté en très bons jeux, et elle ne compte visiblement pas s'arrêter en si bon chemin pour mai 2025. Rien que dans la première dizaine du mois, nous avons en effet déjà plusieurs sorties à surveiller de près. Le 6 mai, nous avons par exemple quatre jeux qui peuvent valoir le détour : le party-game Among US 3D sur PC, le FPS nerveux Metal Eden sur PC, PS5 et Xbox Series, un portage du déjanté High on Life sur Switch. Le 8 mai, rebelote avec deux autres jeux sur le papier prometteurs : Revenge of the Savage Planet, la suite du très bon Journey to the Savage Planet, sur PC, PS5 et Xbox Series, et enfin le RPG Empyreal, sur les mêmes plateformes.

Dans la seconde dizaine de mai 2025, place à probablement LA plus grosse sortie du mois, si ce n'est l'une des plus grosses sorties de l'année : DOOM The Dark Ages, le retour en forme toute moyenâgeuse de la cultissime franchise FPS d'id Software, attendu le 15 mai sur PC, PS5 et Xbox Series. Le lendemain, nous avons également une collection de monuments du jeu de combat avec la Capcom Fighting Collection 2, sur les mêmes plateformes ainsi que sur Switch.

On termine le tour d'horizon des sorties jeux vidéo de mai 2025 avec une dernière dizaine du mois encore bien chargé. On peut notamment citer le deck-builder/rogue-lite Monster Train 2 le 21 mai sur PC et consoles, l'intrigant jeu d'action-aventure Blades of Fire sur PC, PS5 et Xbox Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tactical Takedown sur PC et Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Battle Destiny Remastered sur PC et Switch, tous quatre le 22 mai. Le lendemain, le marquant Onimusha 2 sorti en 2002 fait aussi son grand retour dans un Remaster sur nos plateformes modernes. Enfin, le 30 mai verra arriver le spin-off coopératif Elden Ring Nightreign sur PC, PS5 et Xbox Series.
